Advising
Elementary Education Emphasis Students (ELEM ED):
Please meet with the LBST Staff Advisor, Raymond Gandara (rgandara@fullerton.edu). Raymond can answer questions related to major advising, GE advising, schedule building, holds, petitions, graduation planning, minor exploration and more.
You can book a Zoom or in-person appointment with Raymond using the appointment link copied here (use your CSUF student email when prompted): LBST Advising with Raymond Gandara *
*NOTE: 1-1 Appts are for current students only. If you are an incoming freshman or transfer student and Fall 2025 is your first term at CSUF, you’ll attend a mandatory major advising session in the summer to discuss course registration. Look for an email from (hssuccessteam@fullerton.edu) or reach out to them directly for more info to sign up for major advising.
Interdisciplinary Thematic Emphasis Students (THEME):
You may meet with Raymond to discuss major, GE, grad planning, and suggestions for potential theme courses.
Eventually you should meet with the LBST Department Chair, Dr. April Bullock (abullock@fullerton.edu), or another LBST faculty advisor (select “Professor” filter) to review your thematic plan and senior research project.
Please call (657) 278-2794 to make an appointment with a LBST faculty advisor.
